Overview

Compare local activity for today, seven days, or thirty days across your enabled accounts.

On this page

Available in 1.1.0. Open the menu bar popover and choose Overview.

Choose a period and account#

Use Today, 7 days, or 30 days in the toolbar. Filter by provider, choose an individual account in the sidebar, or keep All accounts selected. The account-set picker follows the same Work, Personal or custom set as the popover.

Each account keeps its own card and units. Tokens, requests, credits, characters, reported spending and API-price estimates are not combined into a fictional shared allowance.

Local history#

History and model totals reuse the session data already read on this Mac. Other devices are not included. Missing or deleted sessions leave incomplete history; UsageNow does not reconstruct it or turn unknown activity into zero.

The provider's current reported balance and daily/monthly spending remain separately labeled. They are not a historical billing ledger. Changing the period does not invent spending for a provider that reports only a current balance.

Reported cost and estimates#

Reported spend is the amount a provider explicitly reports. API price estimate is what local token activity would cost at published API prices; a subscription does not charge this amount. Missing model prices can make an estimate partial.

Balance and budget alerts use reported counters, never token-based estimates. See Menu Bar for current quota windows and resets.

Privacy#

Overview reuses the app's existing readers and in-memory numeric aggregates. Opening it does not create another provider runtime or send account, model or usage data to UsageNow telemetry.
