Experimental personal-plan usage through a web session you explicitly connect.

On this page

Experimental Available in 0.8.0.

Connect#

In Settings › Providers, enable Cursor and choose Connect, then Sign In. Sign in on Cursor's official website in the temporary window, choose Connect, then Check and Save. A manually supplied named session cookie is available if embedded sign-in is refused.

See Connect a provider for storage, SSO limitations, additional accounts, and disconnection.

What it shows#

The personal plan allowance and reset information reported by Cursor. Shared team pools are not substituted for personal usage. UsageNow does not average Auto/API component percentages, infer an unlimited percentage, or turn the response into local token activity or a cost estimate.

Source and limitations#

UsageNow reads GET https://cursor.com/api/usage-summary with the selected session cookie. This is not a supported public usage API and can change. Only allowed Cursor/NextAuth session cookies are retained, not analytics cookies or a whole browser profile.

An expired session requires reconnecting. A refused or unfamiliar response shows a connection error or the last known reading with its original timestamp, not a fabricated zero. Plan compatibility is not universal.
